I was wondering if it was possible to change the steering wheel in my 2000 Cavalier with another one that still had an Airbag. Out of everything I love about the Cavalier the one thing that bugs be is the big square steering wheel. Will 03+ Wheels fit mine? Thanks

Well don't quote me on this but I THINK the 03 wheel has a different size hub so you can't use the two interchangeably. However you can put on a new column. Here is an ebay one for 30 bucks with the wheel.

of course then you need to get an air bag for the wheel. Again I am not certain but I also think you need to get the airbag set with the controller. You could just get the wheel air bag and hope nothing goes wrong.

I'd definitely get a second opinion though. I am just going off what I remember reading. I may be mistaken

'03 wheel/airbag won't work in an older Cav, possible different hub size, and definite clockspring won't work. And you probably WOULD need to get an airbag SET, with both bags, the controller under the seat, and probably the impact sensor under the hood latch.
