aftermarket tach bulb change?????
Tuesday, June 26, 2007 3:28 PM
Hey, just wondering if there is a way to change the bulb in dash mounted aftermarket tachs?
I have a autometer autogauge daush mounted tach in my sunfire; the face of the tach at night lights up a crappy dull whitish color(old school white light) i want to know if i can change the bulb out for a green one or paint it or something; anyone do this to their tach, if so how do i go about this?
Thanks

Well it depends on what style it is, mine is old school too, but it is easy to change, on the front of mine where the shift set thing is there is two phillips head screws, simply remove and replace the bulb, easy!
