my friend has this on his cavalier. they look really cheap and his is ripping. i would not suggest getting it. and there really is no way to paint is seeing as its going to be flexing around so much it will flake right off.
OK thanks SO theres one vote NO ahah im gonna do it like that, because to be honest, thats your opinion and your personal experience, anybody have good comments about this shift boot?
How is "it looks cheap and is falling apart" not a good comment?

no nno no i mean not good as in negative... not like it doesnt matter or anything there are positive comments and negative comments, and that was a negative comment...
just letting ya know man, i think they look nice for the first month or 2 but i would plan on buying more if you like them enough
i love how people ask for opinions on things then ignore it.
i have had the boot on my cavy for about 2 years and never had one problem i broke the clip thing that is under the console so mine is just kind of...in there but no fade...or cracking i like it alot

see, i knew there would be at least one good comment about this boot... Schmidty, did you just screw the plate right on top of the center console piece? Can you show me some pics of it installed on your car?
like i said mine is just...in there i didnt use the plate i was gonna use the stock clip for the boot but mine broke coming out so i took the piece off the console where the shifter is and layed the shift boot in there, put the piece back and snapped it down on top of it so it would hold and yea i will see if i can find a pic im sure i have one somewhere
