I am looking at adding some gauges to my 02. Autometer makes a 2 gauge unit, but I want three gauges (oil pressure, volts and air fuel ratio). I checked online and found a company called Lotek. They make a full pillar pod that holds three gauges. Has anyone used this item? Was it a direct bolt in or did you need to make any modifications? Does it replace the existing pillar cover or bolt to it? It appears that you must order direct from the company, are they good to deal with? I just want to be careful. I got a little burned on a recent ebay deal. Shipping cost half of the purchase price. I still got the item cheaper than buying locally. There was another triple gauge pod on ebay with gauges from a company called glowshift. Any opinions on that item would also be appreciated.
Thanks

I had a good experience with them. Color matched great. I had to sand a LITTLE to get the pods in but that could have been Speedhut's issue.
I screwed mine directly to the stock pillar but it seems like it could be a replacement if you want. I think some guys on here did it that way.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Lotek and their part.
i also have one of their triple pillar pods and like said above i used it as a cover and screwed it to the stock pillar. they have 2 spots on the pillar where you can drill
i thought this replaces the stock one?
It technically is a replacement. You're supposed to drill into the metal and screw the pillar in place. But some people, including myself just attached it to the stock pillar.
Sold 6/30/06.
Don't you love how the gauges don't even point toward the driver with the lo-teks? :\ Glo-shift ftw :p

can some one show pics of how they had to modify the lo-tek pilliar to fit the sedan? Jason from A+ said that it needs to be modified to fit I just want to see what it intails for me to make it fit in my wifes sedan. Thanks!
Jason, if you modified the Coupe gauge-pod, and made the gauges point toward the driver, I'd consider buying one.
