Anyone else see this on ebay?

Looks like it was done well. Nice pick up to who ever won the bid
I was watching it, but I didn't want to pay that much. I'm glad someone good got this that I know.
I tried getting in there at the last minute, but the high bidder must have made a pretty large bid. I really wanted it, but I guess now that I think of it, I'm kinda glad I didn't win it because it was just way too much $$$ for a center console. Oh well......
i was kinda hoping someone would out bid me.....
My max bid was only $175...... It went for $172?

Do you want me to buy it from you & have them ship it to me? :-) j/k.....it should look good in your ride though.
shame its not real carbon fiber
GM at 1 point was going to sell the console tops like that as a accessory , there is a picture of them in 1 of the SEMA galleries
There are companies that do the carbon fiber prints. There was a huge group purchase over on grandamgt.com a few years ago. Its not real carbon fiber, doesn't even look very real but if people like it someone should try to setup a group purchase with a company that does that.
brian did you get the console yet ?

i know all about um
what i was saying is , the console in question is not real carbon fiber , its that overlay stuff , and i know that from seeing the car it came out of and the fact GM was considering selling them , along with a couple other designs as a accessory item
i live in low places , so i know people , LOL
ah i took it the wrong way lol sorry i was tired as hell
no problem , ive been there before
I think it is well worth that considering none else on this site has one. Not to mention there were probably less than a handfull made. Yet nother example of where GM would have had a good seller if they had actually sold it.

FORGET GIRLS GONE WILD WE HAVE GOVERNMENT SPENDING GONE WILD!
Wow.... So I won this damn thing on the 19th, followed their check out crap, and paid the $172.49 in full, on the 19th. NOW today, the 25th I receive an email/bill for the SHIPPING on it!!! They want another $39.99 to ship the damn thing to me!
I'm about ready to say "Thanks, but no thanks. Give me back my money, and put it back up on Ebay."

Well in the ad, they didn't say price included shipping so I could see how they would do that to you even though that sucks. I like the console; I'd be all over it if it was real c/f.

Thats how it looked when I did their check-out. It should have automaticly added shipping in when I filled it out. I sent them an email saying they can either ship it for free, or relist it and refund me..... they wrote back they will ship it for free.

Good thing you worked it out then. You definitely would have gotten ripped if you had paid the extra $ for shipping. I hate when stupid stuff like that happens; it's annoying to pay the money for what you pay and then all the extra bs.
cool , gotta love free shipping
even if it is slow cause they messed up
I love when people start making assumptions about the terms of an auction, then get all pissy when they decide not to ask and find out they assumed wrong. Sure, it would be nice if everything was always spelled out, but the people to make the auctions are humans too. Omissions aren't alway intentional.
(I speak as an eBay coordinator who has pretty much seen it all. The following are true circumstance, give or take some minor details).
- "What do you mean I can't pay the same flat USA rate for shipping this heavy item to Australia? A bloody scammer, that's what you are!"
- "I don't care if you say you have a dozen of these things. You clearly just relisted the same item I won, and I'm leaving negative feedback since I know you'll never send it!"
- "I'm afraid I sent a check with an extra 'zero' on the amount -- would you sent me back a check for the difference?"
- "What to you mean there's no 'media mail' postage rate in Canada? Liars! I know you're just pocketing the extra!"
- "This item you personally wrapped in near-impenetrable packaging came to me damaged! I refuse to take pictures to prove it, but rest assured eBay will take my side if I complain!
- "I just accidentally bought 13 of something. Can you just void 12 of them?"
- "I'm not bidding on anything, but I feel it's my civic duty to inform you that I'm an expert on something you're selling, and you're wrong about a bunch of details on it."
- "I refuse to pay for my order unless you go out of your way to use some obscure shipping carrier you've never heard of."
That's all I can think of at the moment.

I whole heartedly agree that humans make mistakes..... but if they would have come to me right away about it, I would have said no problem. Instead they waited till today to say "Hey, we'll ship this out to you, as soon as you pay us for it." I normaly dont complain about shipping, since I've had to deal with shipping quite a bit. But when the auction doesnt state what shipping is, and their automated checkout doesnt include shipping.... what am I to think? except that shipping is free
