Hey guys,
well after 10years my rear deck on my cavalier has finally started to tear. Now it looks like a pretty simple piece to recover with some new material, but what kind of glue (and where from) do i use to keep it tight ?
Thanks
Nate

3M Super Trim adhesive is what i used on mine.. worked great
I used 3m spray glue and a staple gun, works great and looks great.
best bet is to use contact cement, and hot glue on the underside to fold the edges
as for the vinyl, you can get it at any joanne fabrics, etc

Yep, I used 3m spray, forgot which kind. As mentioned, the 3M Super Trim adhesive is one of the best. Most of the vinyl you get will have a soft backing that sticks great. However, the 3m doesn't stick vinyl to vinyl too well, which is why hot glue comes in handy when folding underneath. Mines been holding for a while in the hot summers here in FL. I wouldn't suggest this methond for a headliner though.
