why is it that when i turn my key one click or more, i can take out the key and still start the car. or when im driving, i can remove the key from the ignition. im really confused by this. thanks for your help.

my guess is that the ignition is broke. the tumblers are probably broke
Worn key. Mine did the same thing, went and had a key computer-cut at the dealer, no more starting the car with no key.
