putting back door inserts

when u take off the plastic welds on the door inserts, what is the best thing to use to secure them back in place? im redoing mine with black suede, so i'd like to know

i saw somewhere about usin liquid nails... how effective is this?

I used hot glue for mine. Worked so far for about 2 months counting

i tryed using hot glue, held for about 3 days then fell apart.

i just got some stank ass epoxy glue. it was in a silver tube. only thing that has held up for me. actually, the first time i did it, i just drilled some small holes and held em on with tie wraps lol. you couldnt even see em.

When i did mine i used a heat gun to melt the tabs and pop it apart, then i just reused the gun and remelted the tabs back on. works great, you just have to make sure not to get the panel to hot or it may warp on you. you gotta do it like your welding a piece of metal. do a tab on one end then the other, then the middle so your not concentrating all the heat in one area. other then that i'd say epoxy for plastic would be your next best bet.
