Hey guys, I have a 97 sunfire. The done light is the 3 light kind. I've been trying to find blue dome and trunk lighs, so when I turn on the dome light the car glows blue inside, and when I pop my trunk, the subwoofer box will be lit up in blue. I can't find anyone that sells replacesment bulbs that actually emit blue light. Autozone sells blue colloered ones, but they glow just as white as the stock ones. My manual says the dome light is #562 but doesn't give me a number for the reading lights or the trunk. Does anyone know where I can actually get a good set of bulbs that will work for what I'm trying to do?
Also, does krylon fuzion come in matt silver? I wan't to paint my vents and some strim pieces silver, and have seen people with painted interiors the same color I wan't to use, but I can't find a can of spray paint that color anywhere, and I wan't to use krylon fuzion on the plastic parts if at all possible, where did some of you here with silver interiors get your paint? Thanx, the problem is actually finding the stuff around here. At least I have the numbers now. Considering that the bulbs are more on the "ricey" side, you'd think more people would sell them. Hopefully I can fiqure out how to get the dome light cover off in the mean time, I'm doing it the way the owner's manual says, but it aint working. Sometimes I wish I still lived in the city, at least you could get what ever you where looking for, unlike where I live now.
the cover unlatches from the front side, there's a hook on the rear. Carefully pull down on the front of the lens and it should pop loose
I hear ya on the city bit, most if not all of my stuff has to be mailed.
