Hey, I'm new here, I searched but didn't find anything so if this has already been asked I apologize for repeating. Anywho, I am painting my interior and this has caused my stock dark gray/charcoal whatever colored seat belts to stick out like a sore thumb. I was wondering where I could get my hands on a full replacement set of black belts, either online or from a donor car from a junk yard. Any help would be great. If it matters my car is a coupe.
Just go to a junkyard...dont think any came in black, though....if you are patient enough, you could dye them...
I was thinking about dying them, but wasn't sure how difficult disassembling and reassembling them would be, like from the retractor thing i mean
its really simple, but you will need a rivit gun and 2 rather large rivits.

Okay, so I got my rear belts out today figured I'd start with those, now can you explain how I take apart the retractor without breaking it?
No reason too.
I saw somebody do his belts ones and it was a genious idea.
Take one end of the belt and attach it to something. Perhaps nail it to a piece of wood an weigh the wood down or something. You'll find something that works. Take the other end of the belt and pull it all the way out. Attach that end to something too. Spray with vinyl/fabric dye, flip, dye, done. You may have to do a couple coats.
