I've read it before, and now I can't find it in the search. But what are the specifications to look for when finding a new shift knob for a B&M Short shifter. I just want to make sure when I buy a knob that it will fit properly (I don't like the polished one it comes with).
I was going to buy a B&M knob but it's been discontinued. Jason at A+ was very helpful but sadly the b&m knob was unable to be found.

How much would that run? I would be interested as well if it was reasonable and allowed reverse lockout.

My understanding is that the 03+ is a threaded knob, whereas the 95-99 has the clip style.
your options are to either a) make a sleeve that will go over the 95-99 shaft to allow something to screw on, or remove shifter, take to welding shop, have them cut some of the shifter shaft off and weld on the end of a bolt to allow for a screw on knob to be used. Only other option is to use something with set-screws. I researched an adapter and the only one I could find was one from Lokar, but the inside diameter is too small.
Example of sleeve on 95-99 (the brass part):
The knob is quality. B&M makes good stuff.
