Are they all the same 95-05?
Just curious for my wiring harness swap.
Will all my sensors and air bags off my 99 swap over to the 03?
yea, pretty much what i need to know is... will my Air bag module ( under the passenger seat) function with the 03's wiring harness. ( mines never been deployed) and i am pretty sure all the sensors from looking at the ones on Ebay are still the same.
The guy i got the parts car from snagged it on me but i figured mine would just swap over and didn't raise a stink... I am finding out a lot of my parts won't.
well im 90% sure that the module wont work...you need a 2000 up one ..then i think you have to splice the 99 plugs onto the 2003 up harness..i think..but hopefully someone will chime up..

Gaaaaaah.... damn it all! I have the entire wiring harness from the car. Everything still all intact with pigtails cause i tore the hell out of the donor car. I might have to contact AZJBO or someone who frequents yards that have ecotecs in them cause the one by be doesn't have anything like 00 or newer yet.
... This swap is collecting more and more moola outta my pocket.
trust me i know...
im not going to run my bags till i can find a set for a decent price..
Anyone?
or are the 00-05 interchangeable?
as far as I know its 95-99 the 00-03 then 03-05. If you buy bags an module from another vehicle you will need to head over to the dealership to have them reset it to match your car vin. Costed me 100 bucks.
If you are doing the eco swap, and changing the wiring, sdm(airbag),the bcm, pcm radio, and anti lock all "talk" to each other otherwise it sets a code. you will need a sdm module from a 2000 or newer- 2000 uses a unique plug- but can be used. bags can be used with plug modifications. last swap I did, I had to change the dash too!! different cluster

I have the BCM, PCM, and the stock factory radio. So i pretty much need to fork out the extra cash for the SDM in order for it all to work.. Ah, well... the motor swap will be worth it in the end.
