from what i understand you cant really changet the color in the sunfire gauges whithout tearing into them, you could always do a cavi cluster swap with a few little mods and change the color of them all u want

actually, we are still trying to figure out how to change the color.
from what i remember, only the 95-99 clusters can be changed.
what color are you going for?

these are sunfire gauges, but it shows you have a cavy....not sure if you noticed or i'm in the dark about some swap you've done or car you own..

anyway, last time i tried to ship these the guy gave me the wrong address 3x and they were sent back to me. just bad luck with them i suppose, but i'm also in the process of moving, so time is short..

oh and sorry for the name change...."z24 at night" was suppose to be the name of my photo, not my name...lol

just see if someone from this area can pick them up and ship them for you....if you can do that, they're FREE

Yep I have done a swap, I am using 2001 Sunfire gauges. This is a plug-n-play swap

like Chef said, 2000-2005 clusters are a direct swap, plug and play no modifications required. To put LED's in you need to drill out the location of the old LED's or de-solder them, and re-solder in the colour you want. only do that to cavy clusters though, there is no real point to it on sunfire clusters due to the fact that they have a red film overlay in the cluster which is a bitch to remove.

PRE 2000 j's: whole different story. A cavalier cluster will not directly swap over into a sunfire. You would need to cut off the existing connectors, and wire in the appropriate ones. EX: cavy cluster in a sunfire - cut-off sunfire connectors and wire in cavy ones.

Also dash modification is needed. You need to trim the black mount around that sits around the cluster.

Hope this answers some questions.

Oh, and i also forgot to add that when soldering LED's in pre 00' you need to use a resistor with the proper rating. Check what size your LED is and the voltage it takes, then purchase the corrisponding resistor that fills in the gap of however much current is left to be absorbed so you don't fry your LED's. There is a sticky about that at the top of the page which teaches you how to figure out the resistor ratings and which one you would need. SEARCH.
