As long as the pod is for a cav you should be alright. As for the glow shift gauges...a couple of my friends have them, they are pretty nice, I personally prefer autometer, but that's just me. Seems ok, but I've alsways been a lil iffy on ebay.

yea i got that deal for my sunfire lastr year. I got A/F Ratio, Oil Press. and Vacuum. I like the gauges and they work good, dont know how accurate they are tho. The pillar tho is just a cover. You have to either screw it to your stock pillar or, as i did, glue it. It didn't fit right but it wasn't horrible.
I'd say if you like the gauges, see about picking them up from glow shift and getting a lotek triple pod holder. At least Lotek makes a decent pod setup.
idk about the ebay thing, but there is a website thats called egauges.com and i think its pretty legit , and i think the gauge pod is one whole piece and you take off the old one and put the new on on , no bolting ones over the stock a-bar...but these dont come with gauges though , but i prefer auto meter so....just an option...
glowshift is official got all my gauges from them and my pillar. pillar is better then those crap bolt on ones this one give u roo for your wires behind it. nothign wrong with glowshift some ppl want the best and go with autometer but ur gonan be paying out ur @#$%^ im running them fine on my turbo fire. they got a website too glowshift.com and they have some cool combo gauges too hch i like and save roo fro tubro guys that need multiple gauges

between me and my friends we have purchased 5 pods and glow shift gauge kits from him nothing but perfection the pods for the js were perfect fit 00-02 n 03-04 pods. got 4 a 03 neon and 2 scion xbs all perfect fit and gauges work great. so dont fear hes a great company to deal with n shipp fast .

would be home made. why would u want them they would really just be a show piece cause u wouldnt be able to read them very well across the car. i saw a cav at a show once and he had a universal pod glued no real effort at all to the dash above the glove box and below the air bag. they didnt work and if they did that wouldn't ne safe driving u would have to look almost sideways to see them . Why??????
glowshift pods are not universal. I own a triple gauge set up myself (04 eco) and installed on for a friend of mine in his 99. Both fit perfectly and had 0 issues with them.
For what you'll pay for them... they are a steal!

i did a lot of search on Google on other car forums and barley any complains, they do the job,
and i don’t need it to be super accurate i just want them for show. but people are saying they are accurate and if something is wrong with it glow shift will replace the gauge.
I think for the price you cant beat it and plus you get 7 colors to swap from.

the gauges are a little the fast and the furious for me... but im liking the pillar replacement...
so its a direct replacement? even has the long arm on the bottom that fits in behind the door sill threshold plastic molding?

Doyle what seems to be the problem with the volt metre? Cuz thats one of the main reasons i want the gauge pods lol I want a volt Metre in the car, had one in the old cav.

glad i saw this let me know how well it fits I'm going to order just the 3 piller i have all the gauges from cyberdyne and getting rid of my crazy dash. Cant beleive how cheap that is for a piller.

Probably partially because its only a cover not a replacement
Had the tinted glowshift ones and they pretty hard to read in the daylight. Had the oil pressure sensor die on me in 3 months. Other than that the gauges worked fine. I now have the cyberdyne gauges and love them.
