Ok... my car got painted some months ago and I have some white overspray on the door strickers from getting my jambs painted. I want to remove them and strip the paint so they are silver again. Is there anything I should know before removing the strikers? I don't want them to not be aligned or anything when I try to put them back.
They feel off the yellow car when i was cleaning it once. Took it to work laminated it and threw it in the glove box

^^ he means the door latch striker not the door jamb stickers
as far as the striker goes, i dont recall it having slots, just holes... so if the holes in the 1/4 panel arent slotted you can bolt it right back in place. done and done. i believe the fasteners are of torx head decent.. so get some good tools to take them out if you already dont have them.

correct, there are no "slots" or anything. just torx head bolts(big size) and there will be a clear piece of plastic and i believe a white piece of plastic behind the striker. the clear part is basically useless, but make sure to keep the other "spacer" or whatever you want to call it
I got it done today
Thanks for the help guys. it was quick and easy
