yea i dont know anything about gauges. i was wondering if their was an aftermarket gauge that could tell me if my battery is going to die out. is this the "voltage" gauge?? if so how do you read this gauge as in knowing when your battery will die and how much life it has. is this gauge easy to set up? give the info!! thanks guys.
volt gauge $30-70 one wire to the neg, one wire to the pos. or they make digital ones that they sell at walmart that plug into your cigarette lighter
hmm that walmart one sounds good. you just simply put it in the cigarette lighter and it can read how much battery life their is? no wiring included? thanks for the info but can you explain to me how you read the gauge?
The gauge will give you the voltage of the charging/power system. Optimal is 13.8-14.4v (varies based on alternator and electrical load).
Higher or lower than that and it could mean there is a problem in the charging system
