Pulling out the trim up along the pillar...
Saturday, November 24, 2007 6:18 AM
I read the FAQ so please don't attack me.
I need to get it out, but it won't budge.
The FAQ says just pull and it'll eventually come out.
But I dont want to pull hard if its going to break..
It feels like its molded or something to the pillar.

iii) All the other trim in the car: This is all held in with metal clips... when in doubt, pull! It'll come out eventually.

How much "pull" does it take?
Does it even come out?

I have a 98 Cavalier BTW

thanks...

Keep trying... it has metal clips, trust me.

Start at the top of the pillar and work down.

Ok thanks, thats what I wanted to hear. All the other panels came out easily, this one feels like its going to pull the whole pillar with it.

Thanks, I was was thinking about trying to fit a toggle switch inside there.. after seeing that I don't think it'll work how I wanted to do it.
