I was wondering if anyone could help me with telling me how to get the rest of my dash apart. I have the top piece off and the gauge benzel around the heater control and stuff but have no clue really how to take the bottom piece off. Its all attached to the piece in the window glove box and all. If anyone could help me that would be great planning on doing some interior work this year over the winter. Thanks
.
You mean the "lower dash" ? Theres a bunch of bolts, you must remove the airbag, HVAC Everything, Steering wheel and all, then it bolts out. I did it at a junk yard, it took a while.
As Mark mentioned, you have to pull off everything - radio, airbags, HVAC, steering wheel & surrounding trim, blinker/wiper arms - everything. Helpful if you disconnect the vent ducting too.
It's about a 15-20 minute process after you get it down pat. 30-40 the first time around...

30-40 eh? The first time around, it was 100*F out, in a car that had 2 inches of water (rusty water) in it....it took us a bit longer than that.....But, we had no clue what we were doing, just taking out everything we could see.
Thanks everyone once i figure it out i will start snapin pics and post them up in the photo section of the fourm let everyone see how its coming along and how the finished preoject looks
