i bought a APC 5 hole steering wheel, where can i get a hub for it to fit on my 98 cavalier
He said 5 hole. I think the Momo hub adapters are only for 6 hole steering wheels. I believe the Grant steering wheel hubs are 5 hole, and you could probably pick them up at a local Autozone.
5 Hole is the standard we have. Isotta, Momo, Sparco, APC, and Tenzo are all the standard 5 hole pattern. I'm pretty sure any 5 hole wheel will work too.
ok so that is all i would need to install the wheel

i know for a fact that Sparco wheels are 6 hole wheels. also, my Tenzo wheel and old Momo wheel were all 6 holes. the momo adaptor is also 6 hole
the grant is 5 hole
Now that i'm at work I checked and you are right. The good thing about the GM spline is they have used the same spline since '62 ish so it shouldn't be hard finding a grant hub adapter. GM only since changed the spline on newer cars.
^^^ya, the wierd thing about it is others with the 03-05's have said thiers were different than the 95-02's, but mine wasnt and i have an 03. wierd, lol
but i do remember someone mentioned the Grant hub for the older S-10's (8x-94) fit 95-02 cavs/fires
I have a hybrid MOMO/Grant on my 03. The hard parts are MOMO, but the finshing piece is a Grant. So instead of the accordion piece mines a curved piece of metal.
wow, that looks a ton better than my momo accordian piece....may have to pull out my extra grand adapter
thx for the idea!!
so if i found an adapter that will fit an older s-10 off of ebay it should fit my 98
thats what ive read...but cant confirm personally
i had a apc wheel and grant hub addaptors work perfect... i got mine from O'rileys for like $15 then i have a solid metal chrome cover that goes over the hub and hides it all up to the wheel...
hey not to be rude or hopr this is an older picture, but the do seel gauge cups in black and carbon fiber. you should use them instead of zip ties to secure your gauges.
The hub adapter is very nice though
I have the cups but the problem for me is they sit the gauges to high up and they interfere with the cluster. I'm not crazy about the looks but the function is spot on.
I do have a pillar pod too, but I like being a little low key if I can be so I took it out.
what are the guys using for hub adapters for their 03-05 cavaliers with different splines then?? I have an 03 steering column with tilt steering i want to use when i swap everything out of my 99..
is there something else we can use to be safe?
