Ok im part way through my eco swap and ive run into a snag i think with the heater box and hvac. Basically what can i use off my 99? The hvac unit is differnt but im not sure about the heater box itself..any help? phil
Hmm, i have no idea... I snagged a whole 2003 thats got totaled out in a roll over. So my swap is plug in play once in strip my car completely clean of every thing possible inside.
Do you have a whole interior wiring harness from a 03-05 or something along those lines?
Yah i have the entire harness i pulled out of a wreck. But i noticed the hvac controller plugs are differnt. So it made me wonder about the heater box. I may just go get one tommorow for the sake of not having to worry about it.
Yea, the heater box is all cable controlled 00-05. If you need pics of anything Phil just let me know. Everything is sitting in my basement out of the 2003 very accessible but for only a little while longer untill it makes it all into my car...

When I did the swap i used the old hvac and the old hvac wiring, the connector plugs right in with the 00+ wiring, works great!
Yah im sure it can be done but my plugs dont work. For the cost and ease im getting the heater setup tommoorw morn
