It's all part of having a system. Did you try tightening the screw that holds the mirror in place? Mine vibrates, but I wouldn't say it makes my music sound like crap. You may want to check the quality of stereo components.

i know what your talking about i had that problem in my 95 cav. but i dont know how to fix it.

what he is saying that the mirror rattles so hard when your trying to listen to ur music it sounds like the subs are messed up and when you hold it the sound goes away. kinda like whe you hear some annoying cars go down the street and there trunk rattles like stupid crazy. the same principle if you insulate it the rattle goes away. wow that was alot of stuff i dont think i understood lol

had my system in for about 3 months and I started to notice that the drivers mirror had gotten real bad.
The mirrow was actually falling off, just pulled it off and used some epoxy to glue the motor and mirror back on to the outer shell, it is like night and day now, it is very nice to see with the mirror again.
The spring could also be a little loose(the one that holds the outer part on to the inner part), or the mirror is just loose.
