I have a 2003 cavy and was wondering if a e-brake boot would work for my automatic shifter? and if not where i might go to get one?

yea, but would probably be better if you used a manual shift boot instead. u can get one at a junk yard, dealer, custom make it, etc...

the sunfires had both. neither are direct fits for the cav....nothing is. but i have a set of graphite ebrake and shift boots from a 95-99 sunfire. that will probably be the closet thing youll find. PM me if youre interested.

The manual shifter boot for the Cavvy is the same width as the automatic PRNDL. If I remember correctly it was about $40 from the dealer but I could be wrong. What I did was pop out the PRNDL, position the boot inside the hole with the boot as far back as it would go, and mark the two slots for the front two clips on the boot. I then used a dremel to cut the two slots and just clipped the boot right in. Total time = about 15 minutes. It looks so clean a lot of people think it's a 5 speed but then scratch their heads when they see only two pedals. I also have a B&M T-handle and shortened the shifter rod by an inch but I think that's covered in another thread...

here is my shift boot and knob out of a saturn. i like it for being a stock peice basicly. and i hate almost all aftermarket knobs that are auto. all you have to do is find a shift knob you like out of any GM and it will work on yours. they are all the same

Since I finally got around to learning how to post pics, here's what I did.

The switch on the left side of the console is for the Shift Plus and the custom crumbs are from the sandwich I had stuffed in my mouth at the time.
