I already have an oil pressure gauge and an air/fuel gauge. If I were to swap them out with different brands will this work? or will I come by any complications?
Also what is a useful gauge to have, other than air\fuel, volt, and oil pressure?
I don't see why it would work if its the same gauge just a different brand.
interestingly enough, I emailed two companies and both said that it wouldn't work.
NEW QUESTION
How hard is it to install gauges? And if I get a shop to do it approximately how much would installation cost me
voltmeter, oil pressure, airfuel.
Your typical gauge-pod with aftermarket gauges is mostly a DIY job. I'm not even mechanical enough to be bothered to change my own oil, and I was able to handle the interior portion. The main chore is a bit of wiring. I had a local mechanic look after my extra oil pressure sending unit, which he tee'd in.

Ya im sure the electric part is a no brainer. But I plan to bring the mechanical portion of installing the senders, thats where im curious to see if the cost is worth it for me.
Walk into a mechanic and say how much for this ...
