I hope this is the right place for this question.
The windows on my 98 Sunfire convert need to be adjusted. I've been to a couple of upholstery shops and the dealer to get advise. They claim the windows can be adjusted, but they want big bucks to do it.
What's happening is 1. The windows don't seat under the top seals when I close the doors...I have to lower the windows a touch and roll them back up...and 2. the driver side windows do not meet enough to make a watertight seal. It appears that the door is out of adjustment as well....
So, here are my questions. 1. Should I pay the dealer to try to fix them? 2. Try to adjust them myself? 3. Try to adjust the door?
If I do this myself, I assume the regulator is one thing I have to look at....what else would I need to do? I need to get this done ASAP as we're finally heading toward spring and rain!
this is also golden info
im gonna put that into another downloadable .PDF sooner or later. just waiting on some other info to get first.
This looks like it might be good info...however, I can't open or save these pdf's...is there a secret?
I have version 7.0...I'm at work so I can't change that....and I have dialup at home..UGH.
Can you email me the PDF?
Finally got it....I have a popup blocker on...had to override that....I'll take a look at them now....
thanks....
