Takata is the number one supplier for airbags, and number two in seatbelts. Mostly all GM vehicles are using Takata belts and airbags.

I wouldn't say trendy...they just plain and simple work. And they cost WAAAAAY too much to be trendy.
I own a J...and have a set of Takatas...nor in the J though lol
The color is more so why I didnt buy them for my car LOL

there are allot of other great harnesses out there that just plain work, so if your going to spend WAAAAAAAY more for it then that puts it in the trendy range. look at things like strut grills. their nice grills but for 5 grand less you can get a same quality grill that looks just as good, but everyone runs out and gets the strut grill. why? because its the trendy thing to do.
