new from a dealer you can expect to pay close to $800-1000 just for teh door panels.
id jump on that deal like a fat man on a cupcake. lol

not EVERYTHING, carpet, headliner/sun shade, door sill thresholds, leather wrapped shift knob, floor mats and a few smaller misc. pieces.
the rest i got from various sources, junk yards, parts cars i have, the classifieds, and ebay.
mitdr... 800 for door panels?? i would be surprised if they were THAT much. the entire lower dash for an 05 is $365. but, sometimes gm's prices can be really weird. take the door sill thresholds for instance, i paid $13 each for them. yet i paid $120 for just my shift knob. the brand new carpet i believe was $350, and so was the headliner.
The dash is a chunk of plastic while the door panels are plastic, carpet, and some other pieces put together. I priced them out for my 98 while I was working at a dealer and my cost was about $380 each. The door sill pieces for my 98 were $32 each (the other color options were $16), apparently pewter was the expensive color.
i do get a pretty good discount where i go, so i guess that has a lot to do with why i just went and bought some of the stuff new.
but yeah, your right. i think the carpet in the panel makes them a good deal more expensive. plus, the older panels are actually 2 pieces, upper is a soft almost vynal (it might actually be, idk) and the bottom portion is plastic. whereas the newer 00+'s are one piece of plastic.
well like i said this is everything he said whatever i want take it so im taking everything out of it including the whole dash, carpet, headliner i mean everything
ah @!#$. i just sold off my interior for twenty bucks and a CB radio. @!#$, i got screwed

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
