Where could I find the following items???--a new automatic shift knob with a lockout mechanism, some kind of automatic shift boot (anything looks better than bristles), and an e-brake boot.....

The center consoles for 00+ dont have bristles, and plus the shift indicator lights up and the ebrake boot is on ths console too, I just dont know for sure if the ebrake assembly will match the new console or not but im sure someone here will know. and pretty much any shift knob off sunfire or cavalier will fit, even the leather ones which are nice

you will find a whole list of them just make sure it states universal and has the shift lock out button i replaced my knob the second day i had my cavalier

i have a nokya shifter knob in my cavalier looks like this one


you would have to modify the shifter bezel to get a shift boot to work...
