I have a Grant Ultratech steering wheel (#1110) which was previously on my '90 Z24 (RIP). I have searched and some have stated that the spline is different from 03+ and that a wheel swap would only work with a column swap. Another post had a ink to a Cardomain member with an '04 with a Momo wheel installed with I believe the 2401 (dont quote me on that) Momo adapter.
What I want to know is if anyone on the Org has an '03 + with an aftermarket wheel and if so what adapter works or can uide me to what adapter I would need - if this is even feasible.
Would I use the Grant adapter I used for the '90 or would I need a Grant to Momo adapter? I am aware that at the very least I would need to remove the driver side airbag and grab a resistor to trick the computer into thinking the circuit is intact so there is no airbag light.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Take your wheel off and see if your adapter fits. or just look at it, take a pic so someone can confirm.
It has to work somehow, I am almost willing to bet the adapter for your wheel that you had from your second gen will work just fine.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

yeah, they changed splines sometime in the 03 model year. Some will rok, others you have to swap columns, as there is not an adapter out there (yet) that fits the 03.5+ columns.
Chances are being an 04 your mostlikely going to have to swap columns...I had to on my 05
and don't just look at i, try it on your column, beacuse the splines look the same, But for some reason gm made the shaft have a smaller diameter
I used the Grant adapter on my 04 steering column with no problems.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Based on the various feedback it appears my best bet is going to be to pull the wheel and check for myself.
