Ive been looking into getting new set of wheels 18s, the ones i have now are 17s. I want to get ethier gunmetal with a small lip, or gunmetal with more of a dish. Out of these 3 wheels which do you think would look best on my car? I know its mine and i have to drive it, but im asking for a personal opinion. Thanks, if you dont like any of those wheels im open to other suggestions also.

I say the middle ones if you are choosing from the three, although I love FF5's thats my next choice.
I would go with choice #1....are the 2nd ones the same as you got on the car now just different colour? not a huge fan of #3

#2 and dont order them from wheelmax... i like your car
Boorad: the 2nd ones are Exel P5s, gunmetal with a polished lip. The spokes of my wheels are similar, but they dont have a polished lip. Thanks for the comment on the color most people dont notice it, its magnetic red metallic, same color red as the new 2005 corvettes

Thanks Joe, i didnt plan on ordering from wheelmax I have heard of to many problems with wheelmax and i can get them cheaper locally

Yea i think i noticed cuz my dad just got 2005 vette with that paint like you said red matalic and has a tint coat.....how much did that cost?and did you get it done through GM?

i got it done by a local chevrolet body shop. They did the whole car for $3200, the bumpers and skirts where all installed by me, but they removed them to paint it. There 4 coats of base if i remember correctly and 12 coats of clear, thats not a typo. I worked at the dealership at that time and i knew the guy that painted my car so he made sure it wouldnt fade for a long time and once the swirl marks get bad i can just have the whole car wet sanded. The paint looks best later in the day, but im not sure why maybe just the angle of the sun. I loved the color the 1st time i saw it and it doesnt stick out, like i said most people dont even notice.

i would say the second ones cuz they closely compare to the ones you have now and your car looks amazing...but i will be getting the 1st ones for mine so i like those too.

Thanks for all the good comments and help. Im pretty sure im going with the 2nd one, now all i have to do is save the money up for them. The wheels i have on now will be forsale locally shortly, or trade for $100 and a stock set off 00/01 z24 wheels or 02/05 ls sport wheel machine faced or chrome

Derek724: i heard of someones wheels being balanced wrong and they had to go though the trouble of getting them rebalanced. Someone said that that bought tires from wheelmax, wheelmax mounted and balanced them, but it was done wrong and 2 or the tires where seated wrong and went flat, plus from what ive heard their customer service is horrible. None of this ive dealt with myself These just things ive heard from other members, im sure if you search around you could probably find more negitive things, maybe even some positive ones, but im not taking my chances
