i found a total of 15 mistakes on the car.. and i can't bring it back cause i don't have insurance on it.. so i took pics of it... he better fix it.. ive been having a big big problem with portugal auto body!.. DOES NOT COME RECOMENDED!

he told me 3500 cash for a paint job, and he will work on it all winter.. i was alright.. sounds good!
dropped off the car on november 28th... i get a call about 3 weeks later
cars done.. im likw WTF... i was told it wont be ready until end of feburary..
he says.. "well we had a slow time, so i had 4 guys working on ur car"
now pick up ur car and pay in full.. 3500.. i didn't have 3500 until the end of febuary.. like i told him when i dropped it off.. than he says.. well than u cant pick it up.. and im putting it in storage, 15 dollars a day

that realy pissed me off.. so when i got my tax return back i bring him 3500 the first week of march.. he goes.. okay, the car is payed for, NOW u owe me 1110 for storage fees... wow thats alot of money to keep a car put away for 2 months!!!!!!!! and he didn't even fix my mistaks, like go over the car! i swear, ray charles isn't dead.. hes alive and well painting cars!
so i gave him 600 bucks for storage.. and i had to borrow money from friends and family!... JUST TO GET MY CAR OUT OF THAT PLACE!, i still owe him another 500,
now my entire argument here is, can i go back and ask for my storage fees back? saying.. u put my car in storage, at ur friends house!, AND it wasn't even done when u put it there!??? like u didn't give it the once over, so u put an Incomplete car into storage and charged me? cause every time i went to see the car, he brough it there, left it outside, and by the time i got there it was nightfall.. so its realy hard to notice inperfections.. and the car was super super dirty! :banghead:

dam dude, that is a lot of money you paid for the paint job. I would take his ass to court to get some of your money back or something at least because that was not right at all on his part, but then again not sure the whole entire story. Definetly take his butt to court or try to get refund back and point out all the mistakes. Well gluck with the whole situation.

You should of called the authorities a long time ago. Get a hold of a lawyer or your local police. They might be able to help you out. I don't think you need to pay for storage fees.

yeah that is the story... my buddy though i was lying about the story.. until he talked to the body shop guy, and was like
1) that guy is a complete dick
2) he pretty much said the same thing u did.. so hes pretty much at fault
and im only 21.. so i guess im young and he think he can @!#$ me over..
im sick of ppl always thinking this.. cause im not one to cause a scence. but when i spend 4600 on a paint job and get crap in return.. im causeing a scene with a bat
That even pissed me off, jeeeezzus! Im sorry bro, your car is an amazing 20 footer though, thats for damn sure! Good luck with the car!

Aprently it was spotted at a drive through like a month b4 i went to go get it.. so that is kinda strange.. but my gets mistaken for another car in my town
but im going there on friday, to have a chat with him
and if the chat doesn't go good, than the next chat will be through 3/4" plexi glass, cause im not going to be held responsible for my actions

but i will consult a lawyer if there is a big problem... and i want if fixed ASAP, so im going to ask him to pay for the tow from my house to the body shop.. witch is over 15 KM away, if he agress to fix it...

id fight it. you should not have to pay storing charges. he said the car would be done end of winter. you didnt know that he was gonna be slow and have it done in 3 weeks
you had a verbal contract that the car would be done in feb. and that the payment would be made in feb. simple as that, no extra charges because he got done before he told you he would be. and i heard verbal contracts have been holding up pretty well in court nowadays.
Nick, DONT get portugal to fix it..... they have screwed you enough, what makes you think they wont this time... Take it to BAC/Authority, or go to the place i went to... the job is crap..... LOL...

dude the z3's dont flow at all u got nice smooth clean car then them...
things in value of over $500 need to be in writing to be a valid contract. At least when you look at your car it looks quality. I really like your doors. I see the imperfections, but most won't notice/care. Hope you get your storage money back.

if your going to have to have all of it fixed, i would shave the gas door and relocate it in the trunk. other than that i love the look of the car, its an awsome color. if i were you i would be going down town to get a lawyer and take his ass to court. good luck
