BTW, Its an Opel Speedster. Very nice...Not available in the North america unfortunately.

That's gotta be damn uncomfortable working on rocks. you guys should really look into something a little more modern, asphalt and cement are nice

No pain no gain! The cash for the asphalt went into the car purchase In the UK GM call it the Vauxhall VX220. Rest of Europe (I am in Ireland) its tagged an Opel Speedster. Build by Lotus for GM, for a limited time only. I gather production has stopped earlier this year. There are/were two engine options available, the 2.2L Ecotec Normally Aspirated or 2.0L Ecotec Turbo. Mine is the NA, hence the plan to add an RSM SuperCharger before the end of summer. Want to push her above 200hp, that'll be 855kg running at 200+

Except for the fibre shell and GM power plant she has the exact same chassis as the Lotus Elise. I believe you can get the Elise inthe States, for a big wad of money. But yea, I think if GM Management took their heads out of their text-book as*es they realize there is an actual market out there for this type of kit
