Ahh how i love Yota Tails! What wiring diagram did you use? I still need to wire mine up correctly.
i used this one but it didnt work for me...http://members.shaw.ca/toyota_cavalier/tailshowto.html it left a lot of stuff out turned a 45 min job into like a 4 hr job...

i got my instructions on the net it was a five minute job any needs help i can do it blind folded

I used those same instructions, and it took me about an hour to hook 'em up. But I did take a deep breath and close my eyes to cut the "white wire", wasn't quite sure that's the one I was supposed to cut, but it was the only white one around that area.
I may not know much about cars, but I know two things....
1) Breaking things is expensive, and
2) Horsepower isn't cheap.
