well after ordering my c/f from u.s composties in florida, I finally got around to testing it out.
First I made a Fiberglass mold of my glove box.

( i wish i took more pics of the process work though).
After it was almost cured, i took a razor and cut along the outline of the glove box to clean up the edges. After that I sanding the mold to insure the surface was flat so I could begin laying down my c/f cloth.
this is the end result...however! i still need to sand it, and then clear coat the glove box for a nicer finish.
I'm pretty satisfied with my 1st attempt at it. I have already made 2 more fiberglass molds of the glove box so i can get ready for some other things. To install it, You simply use some 3m tape on the back of the mold and stick it onto your stock glove box. a quick simple install. I had to sand down some of the latch on the sides b/c of the thickness added to the shape.
I'm getting the car ready for next season. No c/f will be on the car until 06.

Andy: yes, next season I am getting rid of all the white (seats, steering wheel, rims). I will be replacing it with c/f and also the blue kevlar.
Looks good and there must be lot of work and sanding.

I still dont get it, wasnt carbon fiber made cuz it was lightweight and strong ......why make stuff that doesnt need to be "look" like it. Like "My HVAC and Glove Box are tuff cuz its made of CF"
I just dont get it......just like how i dont get why people wanna make their cars sound stupid by puttin those rice filter mufflers on their cars
its for the same reason you would pain the interior
just for looks.
and especially if you have REAL cf parts on the outside it really ties thigns together and adds flare when you carry that into the interior
