UPDATE: Front bumper restored!
Monday, June 06, 2005 4:05 PM
Well my mom kept her word and payed to fix my front bumper. $250 to do so actually. By the way, the guy sprayed my whole bumper so I got a fresh new paint job. Here are the pics:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

That's not a crack, it's a light from the camera flash on the bumper
<img src="http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/584000-584999/584592_79_full.jpg">

By the way he welded the crack instead of glueing it.

What you think?

I thought his mom drove it or something and parked in the driveway ..and she didn't know how he usually parks it...That's my guess...

Looks great man! I also love your sig! Did you get new wheels and a silver pinstripe to brake up the paint? Because your ride looks amazing in your sig!

Yeah those are new wheels and I'm liking them more and more. No pinstripe actually, keeping it that way. Thanks for the compliments, you going to the bash?

they welded it? i thought adhesive was all they really did anymore. from what i heard plastic welding was a dying art. cool to see someone still does it. i've never tried it personally. looks good. they did a good job.

A dying art maybe...the guy who does the work is maybe in his 50s so I can see that happening.

pretty sure its not welded.. even plastic welded.. if it was me, my mom scratched the botom of my bumper I would not make her pay for it. I dont know maybe for the fact I'm sure I have consumed more than $250 worth of her resources in my life aswell as torn up alot of stuff she probably was really into and thought was cool even tho i thought it was junk..

A neighbor or a friend maybe.. but your mom??

maybe he didnt have the money to spend on repairing it and his mom offered assistance? whats wrong with that? personal decisions are really his business.
