well guys... I guess when boost builds and tires start spinning from power things eventually wear out. the second tranny, this one I blew was faulty from the get go, noisey, loud and tough so I guess it was a matter of time before it went.
story
leaving work, I pulled out in 1st, shifted to second, slammed the gas down, I love the feeling of being thrown into my seat and tires spinning a little, well that started to happen and then I heard a loud BOOM/BANG and my car tach'd out, in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th... I was assuming that wasnt good, and when I saw the liquid trail behind me, and my softball sized hole in my tranny those were 2 more good indications something NOT so good happened... heres 2 pics for now.... the rest this weekend when I swap the transmission
second is a random piece of casing on the ground, first is part off the diff that I removed from the fire wall.. LOL
my vss sensor is hanging around still bolted to a 2 pound piece of casing, LOL this is awesome...
new tranny is 650$ overnighted to me, 4000 miles

I have no clue, but sounds like fun at least. When i first got my cavy i beat the living piss out of it and now first gear starting to slip if i rump on it, so i have behaved for the last like 6 months. Doesn't do it if i drive nice, i should just sell it to some old lady, she would never know the difference ehh?
