After a long overdue wait the car is back. Ijust picked it up today. Although I still have quite a bit to do.(wiring, new rims, etc) I just wanna get it to where I can drive it and have fun again. I Love the fact to the average person it looks stock. Hence the nick name SIMPLE green.
The shop
ROD'S CUSTOMS 410-869-9000, (shameless plug) did an outstanding job. Even though he was extremely shorthanded. (one man show) I'm impressed with everything from the conversion to molding, to the paint. (HOK Organic Green). I was able to see every part of the process up to completion. Ive already recommended the shop to other JBO members in the area, but I cant praise them enough. Right now the car is filthy and needs a wash but I have to wait before I can really wash it.Anyway heres what Im talking about...
I have other pics but Ill wait till the car is actually done. In case you couldnt tell what youre looking at...
Nissan S15 headlight conversion with S15 grill
Gravana TRD GMX Front bumper
Toyota Fenders (awaiting side marjersto be wired)
Molded side skirts
Toyota Power folding mirrors(awaiting relay to be wired)
Molded rear 1/4 panels (right at the window)
Shaved keyholes
BC2 rear bumper modded to fit Camaro Dual exhaust
HOK Orgnic Green Paint (entire car)
If you know me you know I never ask for opinions or criticism but ..this is

the car looks incredible. when my car comes out, we must get together and get pics when the cars are done. rod is doing great for a one man show, I just wish they would have brought the idea up to me sooner that I could have had the car back sooner if i could get the door poppers put in by someone else......
sorry for the post jack

Mostly everyone else I know of who has done the conversion has used FG fenders and hood and glassed evrything.
However my fenders, and hood are metal and were cut and welded. Which took Rod a lot more time to do. The lights required me to get a new AC condensor becasue of the tight fit.
If youre thinking about it get ready for a lot of labor or if youre getting a shop to do it get ready to shell out $$$. Honestly if it wasnt for my car being totaled last year I wouldve never have even thought about this.

wow....looks awesome. i like the s15 grill in there, looks like it should be stock. the paint is very nice. get some better pictures and post em up!
Love it. you still using those GC's I sold ya? It looks so much different from before.
The convention center would be an awesome spot. I also have a spot near fort armstead that would be awesome. I'm going to see Rod tommorow and tell him to paint the car and be done with it. I hope we can work out a deal to where I can keep the money to get my poppers put in. I'll email you when I'm ready for pics....
