Me and a friend are working on a second ecotec swap. We are taking a 98 2.2 3 speed auto and making it a 2004 Ecotec 5speed. here are some pictures.
this one is were we cut the mounts out of the donor car
tranny mounts are cutting them out of the car.
I have a lot more pictures to load still. We will be installing the new motor tomorrow. If all goes well it will be running tomorrow, or Sunday.Here is a link were everything else will be loaded.

Mind if I ask how much the donor car ran you? I'd LOVE to swap in an ECO this winter. Looks like you've made some good progress, keep us updated.

The car was $1070.00. I will have to look but I think the taillight cover is crack. I will look tomorrow. If it is not yes we will sell it. I hope to have more pictures up later tonight, of the car it is going in.

You can see in the pic under the right side of the tail light bar it is cracked.

the painting was done last night .. the gastank , gas lines, ac unit ,clutch and gas pedal was all put in the car today .. motor & trans is going in sunday morning

thanks. The car is done except for charging the A/C. He took it home last night. I planned to have more pictures up but my computer crashed Saturday night. We also wired in the 2004 head light harness to the 95-99 head lights. High and Low Beams both work. Hopefully later this week my computer will be up and I can get the newer pictures up.
Mike we can take everything out. I will have pictures of his car with nothing in it.
