my clears arrived from whiteboy on Friday, and on Friday night i installed them. i put one assembly in the over at 350 as suggested, for 5 minutes and i melted the top mounting bracket, but it was salvageable, so i got out my dremal with my 1/4" shank burr and carved out the centre section of the light leaving the original sides there still glued to the rest of the light, then i rtv'd the clear over top let dry for 6 hours and this is what i came up with, let me know what you think
i forgot to add the the lights are 2x as bright and no negative effects on changing from the original
^^^ Agreed, those look killer!
looking good man!!

Why did you have to heat them again?
"Life Is To Short To Dance With Ugly Women."
lavaspill: to remove the stock headlight lenses, you gotta heat the whole headlight assebly in the oven to make the caulking that holds it together soft. . then you can remove the stock lens easily and then attach our new clear lens

i would recommend not heating them up, just using the dremal, since these are molded around a stock lense, are almost a perfect fit if you just cut out the centre section
Looks much better than stocked. The glazed look of Sunfire headlights always bugged me.
