can everybody please post pictures of there exhaust setup? i can't descide what to go with. right now i am looking at the monza cat back but i cant picture what it would look like.

i dont have any pictures of it, but i have the thermal catback. my favorite exhaust out of any other exhaust for the j body

custom built catback with ANSA mufflers. No resonators. Very deep tone, i like it.

2.25" pipe, magnaflow cat, flowmaster 40 series muffler. simple, not flashy, and still sounds better than most dual magnaflow 4" tip exhaust setups (my opinion)

Does anyone know why exhausts pop ? When you rev up and the rev drops it pops, why? I hate that, is it because of too much gases are tumbling around causing air to come back into the pipe and pop? (Thats my theory) Anyways, i am wanting the best exhaust set-up for top-end performance and no rasp, any ideas?

do sum research man.. dont understand how u cant like that pop. its a gm thing from what im starting to understand.. cobalt ss's pop with stock exhuast and even the vette z06 with stock exhuast pop.. i personally like my magnaflow, although im havin a 2.5" made sumtime this winter..

I want a muffler like psicho 's Looks stock but isn't, it just looks much cleaner, i saw sum sw2's on ebay like that for like 200 shipped, that's really expensive for just a muffler, but damn so sexy!!!

I'm going to order some mandrel bends from ebay and i was wondering if anyone knows what/how many i need to make a complet cat-back, i though i would need about 2 90 deg. bends and what else, what could i use to go over the axle? Pics of someones cat back would be nice....

mandrel bends for a jbody are not really necessary, as long as the pipe is 2.25 or bigger you probably won't notice/hear any difference from crush bends.you could save some $$ just my opinion. someone correct me if i'm wrong on this

psicho thats what i want my car to look like. i don't have the ls sport rear bumper so i think it would look gay on my car. is there anyway to get just the skirt for the rear bumper?

yes mine is a lil off center, im going to wait to adjust them until i fit the kit this spring.

PSICHO - hows that sound man im gonna be getting a full magnaflow 2.25 catback with highflow cat soon that i won on ebay. dose it need a resonator or is it deep and mellow already. any rasp to it? i know you have a turbo setup too so that will make it a little different.

they are hard to see but you get the point. they just two mufflers from a local muffler shop connected to a Y. and it actually sounds really good, especially compared to my last exhaust setup

you would need to get the entire bumper

i would recomend the resonator -- i had put a whole in my first resonator (before turbo) and had to take it off for a few weeks while waiting on a new one and it was pretty raspy. I am really picky though i can not stand any rasp at all but with the resonator it sounds great
