Cav VS 18' Box Truck

This happened Nov 1st. I was just able to get a pic today we I went to get my stereo out. As if wrecking the car wasn't bad enough, someone tried to steal my HU and jacked it all up.

The front rails are all @!#$ed up. Prob have alignment issues and the strut tower is prob pushed over unless it goes on a frame rack. But Im sure all these bodywork gurus here already knew that..............

Yeah from the looks of it, the front of the car was pushed to the passenger side, Front of the car sits to the right,

The truck turned left in front of me. My car didn't have ABS so I couldn't avoid a hitting him. I caught the pass side back corner and he spun me around. There's frame damage behind the wheel you can't see. As far as buying it back goes, I'm going to find out the details today, but I believe they auction the cars.

As far as what's going to replace it I'm not sure yet. I was way upside down, but I had gap coverage (!). It's going to be a couple months before I have money for a down saved. I was looking at a used Ion Redline or 2004 Vue. I'm also looking at S10 Xtreme trucks and Blazers, the Malibu Maxx, and the HHR. Mostly it will depend on what is available when I'm ready to buy.

Currently I'm driving my wife's 96 Corsica, and since she doesn't have a license yet she isn't missing it. Handles like crap though so I think I'm going to dump a little money into it and trick out the suspension, should be interesting.

Here's a pic of the corsica, check out the hot GM custom paint.
