damn that sucks oh well let's just say i have the bumper lights working
Get in my Belly
Im confused what was so hard about getting the bumper lights to work.
It only took me minutes to hook mine up..the PITA part was getting them to work in sync with side markers and s15 headlights.
Say it with me, "Its not what you know...It's what you can prove"
lol i still dont have mine in yet. i think i should order some this winter
When I first hooked up my TRD bumper lights, the blinkers in my dash were blinking all crazy & the speedometer & odometer would blink with the signals. I just had to do & bunch of trial & error before I finally found a wiring setup where everything would blink correctly. I can't remember exactly what I tapped into, but both bulbs insided each bumper light(the big and the little bulb) blink at the same time when I put on my turn signals. And that's the only time that they come on, and I kinda like that.......they aren't constantly lit like my corner lights are when I turn on my headlights.
ha ha ha ha mine worked prefectly the first time in, all i needed was a dermel and a universal light socket, i found a pace intown that sells the wireing harness for the supra but they wanted 50 buck a harness i said screw it and made my own heh heh not that hard really
Get in my Belly
does anyone know of a harness that actually fits? I don't want to mess with my supra lights, just what bulb or harness fits it?

yeah the supra ones but like i said your looking to pay 50 buck a harness

you can buy the socket from toyota for about 15 bucks and the bulbs for 2 but you'll still have to wire it up yourself...i would use a dremel and make it fit the stock socket for our cavi's
sam-r-i...got pics of how you wired it up?? if not, can you take a few snap shots??
I bought the Supra harnesses from the Toyota dealership so the sockets would just plug right into the Supra lights. I think each harness was around $20. I can't remember if I bought 2 driver's side harnesses or 2 passenger's side......it was whichever one that is cheaper because one side is really expensive since it has some other stuff that is attached to it. I just cut the connectors off the end of the harnesses & spliced into my stock turn signal wires. I think I had to splice into the bumper lights because when I spliced into the corner lights, it was causing all sorts of weird things to happen to my interior dash lights.
