That's prolly cheaper tho, so w/e
What percent tint do you have on the doors? And why hasn't the back been done yet? I'm planning on doing 35% on my doors, and like 2.5% or maybe 5% on the back window for my black sedan
F the law!! lol

i seen your pics and your site it's gonna be really nice when you get it done , ya got a real clean 2gen right there !
i just want a little extra power in mine i'm not trying to run a 1/4 mile or nothin it's just my daily driver grocery getter haul kids around car but i try to keep it nice anyway , i have always liked the 3100 engine i had a 95 grand am and it had the 3100 , it was pretty quick too for bone stock the only thing i am doing with this one is putting a cold air intake and a flowmaster dual out muffler other than that i am leaving the motor stock with the 4 speed auto transmission !

i blew the 3 speed tranny up a tranny was going to run me 350 that wasnt including all the little extras i needed for the right one i was going to put a 4 speed back in , but i found a cavalier a guy rolled into a ditch that had a good 2.2 and 4 speed tranny and just bought it for 200 bucks beleive it or not pretty cheap i thought , and at that time gas was 3.00 a gallon here but this next time i put this motor in i am going to have it cleaned up and lookin good it probably wont take place till spring i have to get all my parts back in order again , like for example the lower dogbone mount from mr. goodwrench that he special made for his 3100 swap and i am trying to figure out wich year grandam to get the computer from i dont know what year in the grandam they did away with the kickdown cable on the tranny the 4 speed i have in my cav now doesnt have one its all electronic , then i have to get another wiring harness and tear it all apart and labor over the wiring digrams the good thing is i still have the exhaust and all my steel plates and grade 8 bolts the steel plates were to raise the upper mount up 1 1/4 inch to get the engine to sit level on the front end i will post some pics when i find em i think i lost them though , if any body know what year the grand am started using the 4 speed without a modulator valve let me know i would appreciate it ! ! !

im pretty sure it started around 97 for the grand am thing!
I'm actually installing the 3800 S/C this winter after we build it. That's what I would do if I was in your postion, too
Hehe
i was going to do the 3800 sc but i was thinking why do i need that much power for a family car , some time in the future i am going to build a 3rd gen rear wheel drive with a small block 400 punched .60 over with all the goodies too many to mention , probably going with fuel injection too i am going to use anengine management system too , something i can play with , with my new laptop computer i just got ! i may endup using the ls1 instead of the 400 but my plan is tomake the car look completely STOCK ! hehe
