Did you see any other sign of leaking? I would imagine there would be a puddle in the plastic bag or some build-up on one of them.

For that money they should fix the prob if it is the struts leaking,are could be a water spot with shipping are something.

I wasn't very impressed with the packing on the struts and shocks. There were just put in the box, no newpaper or wrapping of any kind. Where are holes in the boxes from the shocks and struts sliding back and forth in the boxes.

I would not be suprised if your strut is leaking.

Yeah, my struts had poked a hole through the box too and I also had a wet spot. I hope everything is OK, they are on my car!

Yeah shippin was a little rough on my package too. Can't you just wipe the struts down and see if they continue to get wet in order to determine whether or not that is whats happening?

i could but Jim is claiming thats its jsut assembly oil not wiped off. I think it leaked and dont trust it...the rest are ok but for a grand i expect some assurance. He is exchanging the strut for me for free though...Byut i still expect better packaging of something that expensive. Just 4 boxes in a box, not even a letter thanking me for purchasing or nothing.

that "wet" spot aint from a leaking strut. when they came in the mail he was humping the boxes
