For all those who have known for a few years now know.....I dont do interiors! lol Well I've been busting ass lately on my interior and have a crapload of it finished, and last night, I started some custom stuff.
Since I'm not running a conventional e brake handle, I thought I'd add something different to that area. The perfect spot for my air ride gauges that I've had for 4 years and never put in!
I pulled off all the old vinyl boots, grabbed 3 pvc pipes from Home Depot last night with Mr Sparkle and glued them in place.
Then I fleeced the piece, could only find 2 of my 3 guages, and did a test fit. Then I grabbed some of the grey suede I had and stitched up a new shift boot to match my seats.
Took the piece into work this morning and slammed on some resin.
Added some filler and sanded her down!
Put it in primer by 3pm
less than 24 hours
Monday I'll paint it and take pics of it installed in the center console with the gauges and shift boot in
