slowly yet surely.
i'm baaaaack!!
Are those neon rims? yuck to the rims in the last pick.
2 years and you haven't painted those fenders? Looking
forward to the progress.
I got the car back in April and just got it running last month and registered it this month. Im going to be getting rid of the fenders and go to stock if I can ever find a set of fenders the same color as the car. Not sure what those tires that were on it before came off of but they sure were nasty your right... LOL
The side skirts are off the car because they are both broken they werent on it when I got the car. Also the side moulding on the passenger side is off and needs to be put back on.
The wheels that are on it now are ASA JH3 16x7.5 and the tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 all season tires. I needed to get something fast because I couldnt stay on the road even in flurries with the tires on it so I had to change wheels and tires with limited funds.
Any other things you guys notice that I should get rid of?
BTW I know the car needs to be washed really bad...

Keep the passenger molding off and take the rest of the side moldings off. It will give the car a much cleaner look.
I'm not sure if you want to start modding or just bring it back to stock, but if modding is the way you want to go then get some quality springs and struts to lower her and get better handling and uprgrade your brakes with some new rotors, pads, and lines or just a big brake kit.
A subtle look for the exterior, like front and rear lip and side skirts, would look great. Then you can start working on your engine.
But its your car, what I said are just suggestions. Do what makes you happy..at least you're off to a good start.
Blown.
what motor did you get out of the achieva? 2.3 H.O, 2.3 L.O, 2.4 Twin Cam, or the almighty 2.3 W41? and nice wirk on bringin her back to life. keep up the good work.
yeh looks like ya have some blue fenders on there

I have the 2.4L out of the Achieva just had to change all the mounts to get it to mount in. Right now all that I have done is an intake for engine mods and going to keep it like that for a little while until I get the exterior done.
Taking the side mouldings off sounds like a good idea will give it a cleaner look which is what Im looking for. The little white stripe thats on it is going to be taken off of it as well(across the side of the car). I will probably want to get the lip kit because thats what I really wanted on my other cavy before I wrecked it. Ill have to look into that.
The suspension will be needing to be replaced soon Im sure. Its lowered with the Eibach pro-kit springs on the stock struts which wasnt the right way to do it in the first place.
But anyways the top priority right now is get those fenders off and bring them back to stock I cant stand the way it looks.
