yea i dont know cause i told them that it was for a 97 2.2 OHV and ive already test fit it and it fits fine. Is it possible that they both use the same head gasket?

yea ill do that tonight. thatd be cool if you could match a 2200 head up to a 2.2 block. That would take care of the great fuel problem with turbocharging the 2.2s cause then youd have the top feed injectors.

Well hate to break this open but they can not be the same.
Notice that the 2 major coolant ports I have cirlcled are on diff sides of the heads. And the older 2.2 head has another large port that the 2200 does not...
