Well it took me a while to figure out just how I wanted to do these but I finally started them. These are not done. I still have to clean them up a little bit and do some glassing. The good thing is the vents swivel so I can angle the gauges towards me.
Thanks to Jason(jasonsblackz24) for the gauges!
i like the mount. nice
it would be cool if you could fiberglass the vents solid, but so they still swivel, and mount the gauges in again. that would be cool.
I like.
How'd u do it??
Did u keep the stock vent "directors (those "slats" in there)???
Looks good.

Yes all the stock vent pieces are still there. I just cut and mounted into the center piece.
Guess i should have included autometer in the title

Thanks for all the comments! I just layed a layer of glass on them. I'm trying to
clean them up so that they wont show the slats. I'll post some more pics up later
when I get my interior put back together.
Ok I finally finished one of the vents and wanted to know what everyone thinks.
I used a metallic black paint but I am thinking about repainting them with a flat
or textured paint to match the vinyl on the dash.
looks really good. nice job
