They suck, I know. I was holding it by hand, so most have light streaks. And I've never just gone out and taken pics of my car besides just illustrating something, so I have no idea how bad they are from just a "photography" standpoint.
Today was the first truly sunny day in here since November-ish, so I decided to give my car a good detailing. Took a little over 3 hours, but it was worth it. I can't stand having my car dirty, but it's just not worth the effort during Oregon winters, and 33 straight days of rain at a time.
Anyways, not too much to look at. Stock height, and the exterior is stock with the exception of the vinyl I added this week. As you can see, I got some reflective inlays for all the "Sunfire" and "Pontiac" lettering, and a cover for the front Pontiac emblem. I love them, cause the un-reflected color matches my car almost completely, and the reflected color makes it stand out nicely. Onto the pics:
I'll get some daytime pics tomorrow. Comments or pic taking advice welcome...
those look good but if u had a tripod they would of came out better
Looking good man, get a tripod and you'll take some sweet pics.
get a tripod. cheap at walmart. and try not to have your shadow in the frame. it just looks more pro that way. i like the reflectors vinals at ?
Vinyl reflectors came from
ProStreetGraphics. Seems like a great product so far, and they shipped these out the next day with a clear, full set of instructions. I think it ended up being like $56 for the two "Sunfire" side inlays, the rear "Sunfire" inlay, the rear "Pontiac" inlay and the arrow overlay. It would have been less, if I didn't get reflective ones. But I'm glad I did, I love how it looks in both the night and the day.
Day pics. I tried to get my shadow out of them, but it still ended up in a couple.
Front shot, I like the reflections off the car.
Front shot, front arrow lit up. Also shows how much my camera hates too much sunlight.
"Sunfire" side lit up, and it's hard to see but I did give my tires a good treatment yesterday.
Close up of reflective "Sunfire" lettering in daytime.
All the sunlight made my camera dim it down a lot. But you can kinda see how the lettering looks without light on it ("Pontiac" and "Sunfire").
Nice shot showing off the shiney-ness. Woo.
Shadow is intentional on this one, to try and show the arrow off without reflecting.
Nice front shot, I think. Accidentally got my shadow in there though.
My parking spot at my apartment. Normally it's in the garage though.
