AIRBRUSH 06 phase 1

well its 06 and time for a new look .... hmmmmmm step 1 wetsand i plan on keeping the same color so i have to do this in order to acheive the look, as for the paint scheme its gonna be a sheet metal and stripe look with custon ghost sculls poking out of the sheetmetal..




i know it looks kind funny but i just started wet sanding so it even close to beeing done

a car wetsanded, beautiful. so let me get this straight, you want to have sheetmetal as your paint job... ummmmmm...

no its not gonna be all sheetmetal its gonna be the same color red with sheetmetal and stripes on it , it will start at the front and wrap over the fenders and stop at the back gas door and then continue on the other side by the wheel well an wrap arond back trunk lind to the fronty. it will be slick i promise

I think that people may not really understand what you mean by sheetmetal look. I know because I have friends with that design that they painted on their rides. I have pics somewhere, I'll look. In the meantime, I think that it will look great when it's done. So keep posting pictures.

I am confused? So these pictures, they are of your original paint after wet sanding? What are the before and after pics showing? I dont see any airbrushing...I guess I am confused?

thats gonna look awesome if its done right.......I cant wait to get my marablized paitn job done. its amazing what you can do with seran wrap..

Ewww......Marablized paint jobs look good on lowriders and pimp'n caddy's.........n.......I think that's about it.

Ive seen marble done right on a civic here in maryland,also on a new jaguar at a show, and on several big trucks and other cars. I think it looks incredible. Def something to add that little edge over just a custom color.

If you look close you see half the trunk is sanded half isnt. I think thats what it is

Yeah, he's just showing that as of the time that he posted the pics, he's accomplished wet sanding less than half of the trunk.

So that you can get an idea of what it looks like, here's two links for sheet metal paint job pics on my friends' rides (I hope that this is the same thing that you're talking about doing, Jason):

im just showing you how its done its not airbrushed yet just wetsanded. im showing you the progress as i go along, ok. and for the ones that dont know it will be a airbrushed sheet metal look. not real.

So where's the progress? This post is kind of pointless without progress pics. You should have atleast waited until you have more than just a wet sanded trunk?
