I can see them...

looks good dude. I'd just be worried if one of the valves went out and the car hit the ground...how are ya going to get to the valve to repair it? I had air ride for 2 and a half years and I know that you can't have air ride without having problems.

But yeah...hope you enjoy it! I know I enjoyed mine while I had it

Howdy,

Car looks good. I was just wondering how long it took you to get your air ride installed. I just got my air ride kit and am getting ready to install it.

well it helps if you do it on a warm day i would say an install like that took 11-15 hours with sitting around complaining about the cold and it also helps if you dont start at like 3pm on a sunday when everything closes at 6pm

guys take note from this install........

Notice anything scary here?? Um, 1 jack stand and its not even used at all in the above pic. A cold day and a hydraulic jack could have killed you. NEVER DO THAT

are those hub caps or wheels??? they look like hubcaps, not trying to be an ass but in your first pics your wheels look like steels and then some hubcap looking things in your last ones...

Darn Kris, no mention of me
Yea we had our share of problems with the install but all came out good on day 2.

Yes there are Jackstands, Had to take em from my car, but we used em!

Wow the first pics of ME on JBO lol, Pinpin the red and black fleece!

As far as getting to the valves, if he cant get the car off the ground then 4 bolts later he can take his back bumper off.

I mounted the Valves there because he has remote start, everone with air knows cold freezes the valves up, Well now when he remote starts the heat will thaw the valves and he can go Also NO there not enough heat to damage the lines or valves.
I also Mounted them there because its nice when Im in the tahoe with the windows up ahjead of him and I hear Psh Psh PSh PSHHHHHHHH

lol

theres nothing wrong with bolting your seatbelts to the floor, where your seat is mounted. i've seen it done alot and its just as safe....

Its not the "bolting" to the floor that causes the issue most times. Sure that can be done and if done right the bolt will never break loose but the issue I am sure he speaks of is the angle of the belts....

When using harnesses there is a desired or recommended angle in which to keep the sholder harnesses at when installed so that in a crash your body is allowed to move forward.

This is why 'most' of the harnesses use bars in the rear to bolt the belts to so that the angle is kept to a safe level so that your spine isnt crushed into your pelvis in the event of an accident.

Just saw something about this on rides recently is the only reason I know anything of it at all.

another point, you cant do work without taking the spinner off since he would be taking the wheels off during the install. What you see is just the black backing of the wheel without the spinner attached.

I personally dont like spinners on compacts but give him props for doing something different.
